Outstanding Employees recently were recognized in an April awards ceremony in the Library Auditorium.
The Overall Outstanding Faculty Member was Mary Pat Cook. Cook is the director of the college’s early-childhood-education program. Cook also was selected as the Outstanding Faculty Member for the department of liberal arts and business.
Brenda Murphree was named he Outstanding Faculty Member or the department of health and natural sciences. She is an instructorin the college’s Getting Ahead in Nursing program.
Benny Wilson, a welding instructor,was named the Outsanding Faculty Member in the department of trade and industry.
Outstanding Classified Employee was recruiting coordinator Randy Jerry.
Outstanding Professional Employee was financial-aid director Veronda Tatum.
Each award winner received a monetary prize, framed certificate and trophy.
