Girls Learning About Math and Science

A one-day conference for eighth-grade girls

This innovative program will inspire girls to carefully consider future courses and careers in math and science before high school begins. In a low-stress atmosphere, they will be able to meet women in non-traditional fields and be encouraged to ask concrete questions. The students will also get to meet other eighth-grade girls from the area with similar interests as they are teamed with participants from other regional schools.
