Student Support Svc.
Student Support Services is a federally funded TRIO program through the the U. S. Department of Education.Services are provided to first generation, low income students, and students with disabilities. SSS focuses on assisting students in reaching their academic goals, staying in school and graduation.
For students that are eligible and accepted into the program, a number of valuable services are available---all free to the student. Student Support Services provides counseling (academic, personal, group, transfer), tutoring in math, science, and English, workshops on study skills, test taking, test anxiety, college survival skills, cultural activities, and services for students with disabilities.
Students can receive service after completing an Intake Form and meeting with the SSS Staff to identify services that will be most beneficial based on several assessments
