The South Arkansas Historical Journal, established in 2001, is an annual publication of the Liberal Arts Division. The Journal explores the events, groups, businesses, institutions, movements, and individuals that have contributed, in ways large and small, to this area and its history.
Grounded in the belief that history is worth preserving and passing on to the next generation, the editors and contributors hope this publication stimulates interest in south Arkansas history and provides a medium for its preservation and transmission.
