Asteroids and Comets: Ancient Relics of the Solar System, a Noon Symposium at South Arkansas Community College, will be at 12:15 p.m. on March 19 at the Center for Workforce Development on the East Campus.
President Darrell Heath of the Central Arkansas Astronomical Society will speak about the nature of such celestial bodies and how disaster might be averted if one was headed for collision with Earth.
Refreshments will be provided but attendees may bring lunches with them.
