- First-time entering students
- Must have a 2.5 GPA
- Graduate of a Union County high school
- Must enroll in at least 12 credit hours each semester

- Amount of scholarship determined annually

- Must have completed at least 9 credit hours
- Minimum 2.5 GPA at the end of the 1st semester
- Must have completed at least 24 credit hours with a minimum 2.5 GPA at the end of the 2nd semester
- Must have completed at least 36 credit hours with a minimum 2.5 GPA at the end of the 3rd semester

The Albert W. Loftin Scholarship |
- First-time entering freshmen
- Graduate of a Union County high school
- Must be recommended by high school counselor based on academic achievement, potential for future academic promise, and citizenship
- Must have a 2.5 GPA
- Must enroll in at least 12 credit hours each semester
- Submit letter of recommendation from high school counselor

- Must have completed at least 9 credithours with a minimum 2.5 GPA at the end of the 1st semester
- Must have completed at least 24 credit hours with a minimum 2.5 GPA at the end of the 2nd semester
- Must have completed at least 36 credit hours with a minimum 2.5 GPA at the end of the 3rd semester
- Renewable for up to two academic years
- The total number of scholarships awarded is based on the availability of funds

- Student must have applied for and been denied all other types of aid
