Favorite memory of my time at SouthArk:
During my first semester at SouthArk, my morning Comp II class was canceled without notice so I was already in the building before I knew I didn't have to be there. It was November so some students and faculty were decorating the Whitfield building for Christmas, which included, of course, the Christmas tree in the middle of the ground floor. As I was walking past to leave, I was asked if I wanted to help decorate the tree. It was kind of a spontaneous and impulsive decision, but I said sure! Why not? It ended up being really enjoyable and fun even though all we were doing was hanging ornaments and making sure the tinsel looked just right. I got to meet some other students and some faculty, and honestly, it was a simple but memorable hour where we just laughed about some jokes and got to know each other a little bit more.
My future plans:
After I graduate SouthArk, I will be attending College of the Ozarks in Point Lookout, Missouri. I'll be majoring in psychology with a possible minor in criminal justice, I haven't decided on specifics just yet! But I am looking forward to attending CofO and developing my future plans further.
