This is a Grant Funded position
General Duties
Interact effectively with multiple departments (Financial Aid, Institutional Research, Business Office, Admissions, etc.) to help facilitate timely student support.
Review students class schedule to verify/review status and qualifications.
Interact and communicate with students.
Assist students with completing the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid)
Communicate general financial aid eligibility criteria and effectively to students
Review student grant applications for eligibility, completion and accuracy.
Skills and abilities
Proficient computer skills and a working knowledge of Microsoft Office software applications, including Outlook, Word, and Excel
Proficiency with general office equipment (copy machine, fax machine, printers, etc.)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including interpersonal skills
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Ability to multi-task and prioritize work assignments
Ability to maintain confidentiality in all work performed
Minimum Experience: 3 years
Education: Bachelor’s degree, Master’s preferred
