South Arkansas Community College is accepting applications for a full-time, 12-month Industrial & Safety Instructor. The Industrial & Safety Instructor will report to the Program Director for Corporate and Community Education within the division of Workforce & Advancement.
This position will be responsible for the development and delivery of the following industrial and safety training and certification programs: C-Stop, OSHA, Forklift, Hazwoper, MSSC-Certified Production Technician, and NCCER. The candidate will also collaborate with the Director to develop and customize training solutions for industry partners.
This is a full-time, 12-month position. Schedule includes some early morning, evening, and weekend hours.
Chosen candidate must have an offical transcript on file in HR Department, have a satisfactory criminal background check and complete all onboarding information prior to beginning in the position.
Associate degree or higher in industrial related field and OSHA training certifications in General Industry and Construction. Minimum of five years of experience in safety training. Knowledge of Federal and State occupational safety regulations. Strong communication, presentation, and collaboration skills. Self-motivated and able to work independently. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and PowerPoint.
