Eligibility Requirements
- Be recommended for concurrent/dual credit by your high school counselor and/or principal.
- Pass the applicable areas of the ACT or Accuplacer test to determine college readiness.
- ACT score of 19 in Reading or comparable score on Accuplacer Next Generation test (251+ in Reading) for all courses
- ACT score of 19 in Core Subject (19 in Math for Math Courses, 19 in English for Composition) or comparable score on the Accuplacer Next Generation test (249+ in QAS, 251+ Writing)
- Meet course prerequisite requirements.
Step 1: Get Advised & Determine Eligibility
1. Visit your high school guidance counselor for concurrent options and course approval.
2. Determine eligibility. All concurrent/dual credit students must meet the minimum qualifying score requirements:
For all courses:
- ACT score of 19 in Reading or a comparable score on the Accuplacer Next Generation test (251+ in Reading)
For Composition I:
- ACT score of 19 in Reading or comparable score on the Accuplacer Next Generation test (251+ in Reading) AND
- ACT score of 19 in English or a comparable score on the Accuplacer Next Generation test (251+ Writing)
For College Algebra:
- ACT score of 19 in Reading or comparable score on the Accuplacer Next Generation test (251+ in Reading) AND
- ACT score of 19 in Math 19 or a comparable score on the Accuplacer Next Generation test (249+ in QAS)

Step 5: Return ECS form and Supporting Documents
Step 6: Registration
Step 7: Get Your Student ID and Login Information
Step 8: Get Your Textbooks
Step 9: Pay Course Fee
Step 10: Attend Concurrent Credit Orientation
