Justin Szymanski earns postseason honors

SouthArk first baseman Justin Szymanski, who completed his junior-college baseball eligibility with the close of the 2025 season, has been selected as an NJCAA Division

II Honorable Mention All-American - the first SouthArk athlete ever to receive a post-season honor at this level. The sophomore had a team-leading 78 hits on a team-high 188 at-bats and a .415 batting average. He had 16 home runs and a team-high 21 doubles to go along with 59 RBIs. On the defensive side of the ball, he had a .973 fielding percentage for the season. A team leader for the Region 2 champions, the Ruston, Louisiana, native was a first-team starter for two consecutive years. CONGRATULATIONS, JUSTIN!
