First SouthArk homecoming court announced

Members of the first homecoming court at South Arkansas College have been announced. They are, front row, from left, freshman Taylor Darden of Smackover (arts and sciences major), freshman Janiya Williams of El Dorado (teacher education major) and freshman Keira Cooper of El Dorado (teacher education major). Back row, sophomore Lindy Bean of Sparkman (radiologic technology major), sophomore Kiki Williamson of Mayflower (arts and sciences major) and sophomore Avery McGoogan of El Dorado (arts and sciences major). The coronation ceremony will take place at 11 a.m. on Jan. 17, 2026, at the SouthArk Gymnasium, followed by the college’s first-ever homecoming games that afternoon. The Stars teams will face men’s and women’s teams from Southeast Arkansas College beginning at 1 p.m.
