Students may request academic help in several ways. Professional and peer tutors are also available to work with students in the areas of computers, language arts, mathematics, and science. Students with appointments are given priority; however, tutors and computers are available on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Tutoring Reminders
Come prepared for your tutoring session.
Bring a list of questions or topics you wish to discuss, your textbook, and your assignment.
Read the required chapters.
Try to work out any problems as best you can before you see a tutor.
When bringing in a paper to be tutored, please be sure to have it typed.
The tutors will assist you with your work; they will not do it for you.
