Student Affairs is responsible for the safe keeping of lost and found property. The system below will assist the college community in tracking Lost and Found items.
If an item has been lost, contact the Student Services counter on the second floor of the El Dorado Conference Center or call 870-864-7262. Staff will record a description of the property and contact information of the owner. If an item matching the lost item is turned in, the owner will be notified.
If lost property is found anywhere on campus, the person finding it should take it to the Student Services counter as soon as possible. A property log will document the property, date and time, and location item was found. Staff will look over each piece of property to determine if ownership can be established. Every effort will be made to return such property to the rightful owner. A photo ID is required to claim property, lost ID cards notwithstanding.
Any unclaimed property will be held for a period of three (3) months with the following exceptions:
- Any food/drink (water bottles, perishables)
- Any flammable item (lighters, vape pens)
- Personal grooming items (combs, brushes, razors)
- Any unsafe or unsanitary items.
All other property shall be disposed of or donated at the discretion of the Vice President of Student Affairs.
